Here’s artwork for a Swampy’s Florida coloring book I just wrapped up a preliminary version of Gatorama , in south Florida. I’ll be showing this version at the Florida Historical Society meeting starting Thursday.

Premiering this Thursday at the Florida Historical Society annual meeting is the Swampy’s Florida: The Civil War in Florida coloring book and guide. Above is the cover. Tomorrow I’ll post the other coloring book being introduced about the Florida roadside attraction, Gatorama.

Due to an exchange on Swampy’s Florida Facebook page comes this drawing. Terisa Glover mentioned the Captain & Tenille involving this Swampy comic strip. And the mysterious Elvis Alligatori of Miami was also there. So, here is Elvis as the Captain and Terisa as Tenille with Swampy.

I meant to keep doing at least one sketch a week after the month long sketch-a-thon in March. So, here’s a couple. Below is a sketch of my favorite, Dean Martin that I did for Ustream attendee yesterday, Mrs. Grayson.

Here are the 2 covers of the mini-comics being introduced this weekend. ‘Swampy’ appears this Friday night at The General Store during Downtown Lakeland’s ‘First Friday’ event. ‘Trilby’ is making his first appearance during Free Comic Book Day at Lakeland’s Coliseum of Comics. Both comics are free – BUT there is a limited supply. Come by and get yours!

Today is the International Sunflower Guerrilla Gardening Day 2011 and I decided to participate. Here are seeds, hoe and a Black-eyed Susan to monitor my progress. After I planted the seeds the Blackeyed Susan gave me a thumbs up.
