A tie! The first in a year! The judges could not agree. A battle ensued. Forces came in from the right. Forces came in from the left. The days wore on until the dust settled and a tie was determined. No one was injured in the battle except for the two in the photo above.
Jim Fern wrote that the photo above is of Basil Rathbone, but from his turn in the old ‘Philo Vance’ series, not ‘Sherlock Holmes’.

It’s the new diet. No food, but lots of fireworks.
