Illustration Friday.

The word of the week is ‘wind’.

So this ‘Illustration Friday’ was brought to my attention. The idea is that a word is given and some form of illustration is created from it. I thought, “How can I help this challenge me”. Not so much artistically, but creatively. I had an idea for this week’s ‘It Takes a village’ cartoon and realized that it worked nice with the challenge.

 Sooooo, my attempt will be to combo the word given each week with the ‘Village’ cartoon. The cartoon must still fit my viewpoint and be consistent with Glenn’s site. I would also have to get the cartoon finished before the typical Thursday night deadline. Don’t know if I can make it work each week, but I should be able to push myself to make it work. If I fail entirely, then I’ll create a different piece of work to fit the bill. That’ll be my punishment if I can’t make the word work. Let’s see what happens. Let’s see if I can get past week 1!
