by Rob Smith, Jr. on Dec.15, 2015, under What's New?
I couldn’t decide which of these two to post, so here they both are. These two are from the December 15th edition of the St. Petersburg Times.
Gasoline Alley began waaaay back in 1918 and is still produced today! You can find it here:

Wally Bishop created and drew ‘Muggs and Skeeter’ from 1927 until 1974. You can learn more about him here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wally_Bishop
Interesting that most everyone involved with these two strips lived a good deal of their lives here in Florida.

#DailyInks #21 – Inking a new painting!
by Rob Smith, Jr. on Nov.21, 2015, under What's New?
#DailyInks #21 – Been at Silver Springs State Park for their Fall Festival & Critter Run working on a new painting.
Really I’m re-starting a painting I began a few months ago. Had to rearrange the elements to better show the natural area of the setting, Melbourne Village. Got the pencil part set and added a bunch of ink. A few more hours and I can add paint!
Inking this with a ballpoint pen to prep for watercolor.

Been entertaining at a private event, here, in Lakeland, Florida this evening. Now at an IHOP penciling a last minute editorial cartoon assignment for a very good cause! Part of that will likely be my Daily Inks for tomorrow.
Caricatures inked with Markettes and a Kuretake brush.
