Guess what I was doing at the Anna Maria Oyster Bar in Sarasota?

Guess what I was doing? It was my annual stop at the Polk County SPCA Walk-A-Thon at Lake Hollingsworth in Lakeland.

Before that Sandra’s sister and husband were very kind to let us stay in their house in Lakeland. While I was at the Walk-A-Thon Sandra and her sister and her children got to spend time together which included a trip to Bok Tower.

I stopped at the Orlando V.A. nursing facility and entertained for a few hours. Here’s Archie and his drawing.

Tom Armstrong, who draws the comic strip ‘Marvin’, his wife, Glenda, my brother, Jeff, and I all returned to the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa to draw our greatest American heroes. We were taken to a special section this time and mostly drew young people recently returned from Iraq. As always, it’s a very moving experience. Above is a photo of myself, Rick, a patient at the hospital, and Tom.
