Here are the pencils of a new watercolor painting that will be part of the silent auction at the Marion County Springs Festival this coming Saturday. More to come.

Here’s a painting I finished while here at the Florida Antiquarian Book Fair in The Coliseum in St. Petersburg. This is one part of a three part set …. which is part of a nine part series. More to come.

Today was a BIG celebration in Orlando for my dear friend Lucile Fair’s 105th birthday. Lots of her friends showed up, including members of the College Park Methodist Church. Lucile’s son and daughter-in-law put on a great party of balloons, cake and ice cream!

A group of fellow artists got together in Orlando at Stardust Video and Coffee Shop last Wednesday night. We get together around this time of year to catch up on the goings on in the past year. Above are Pam Treadwell, Paula Large, Jerry Darkey and me.

Got together with fellow artists for an annual Christmas gathering. This time we got together at the Paradise Restaurant in Safety Harbor, Florida. The photo above shows Ron Johnson, Dan Smith, AE Sabo, Sioux Hart and me. We shared our activities and artwork. Great fellowship for all!

Holed up in The House of Joe in Melbourne to get the last four of the Swampy Webcomics penciled and inked.

The new single panel comic premieres in January. Seven of those are already finished. The new version stars Swampy and Pasco Pete as they present interesting Florida historic facts.

Been penciling and inking and penciling and inking and… I guess ya get the idea…

Got lots done on the upcoming ‘Swampy’s Florida: Titusville’. Lots more to do. And that’s besides this Swampy book!

For those who know the story – Here’s a big Happy Birthday to Jacob who turns 18 today!

I was one of zillions who grew up laughing our hearts out at Diller during a Bob Hope special or a Dean Martin roast or a Tonight Show appearance. Her laughter, alone, is legendary.

Phyllis Diller overcame a ton of mess to be the hilarious person she was. If you get a chance read her book of her life, please do. It is an amazing story of finally taking control of one’s life and reaching levels that seemed impossible.
