My first entry of my new Rob’s Video Sketchbook. Friends, J.R. Griggs and Mark Shilensky suggested this and I’m giving it a go. The first one is clunky, but it’s a start. below is the sketch. All done at the Steak ‘n Shake on 17-92 in Winter Park.

Started off an event by drawing a large caricature of the fellow who put on the show. That’s him above, Ken McArthur.

Been working like a madman keeping up with deadlines. To the left is a pencil sketch of one of the many drawings and art I’ve been working at feverishly in the past week.

Above are sketches I made during a meeting I was at today.

When I saw the word of the week for Illustration Friday is ‘Theater’ I immediately thought of the work being done by our incredible military in the Mid-East. I had to knock this out fast as I’m buried in deadlines, but wanted to draw a small bit of action in the “theater”. So this is more illustrative than the cartoony art I usually do.

Below is some sketchy stuff I did before I rushed the above out. I realized I was getting way too involved in something I had to do very fast.

Was at the Ormond Beach Memorial Art Museum at their annual fundraiser.

It’s another year entertaining at Lake Hollingsworth in Lakeland for the SPCA.

Later had lunch with old friends Susie and Russell Noel at, one of my favorites, Jimbo’s Bar B Q.
