Rob, I do not know how to access blogs, but came upon this because of your facebook post. My sympathies to you on your friend’s passing. It is never easy. To let you know, I am moving. Only 3 miles south, but will update all with my new address & phone # in a few days. I should be totally moved out by this upcoming weekend. Thanks for sharing the cool fishing drawing. I know that your friend would be proud that you did it in his honor! Hugs, Shawn.

Bob must have been an interesting person to talk to, with his knowledge of Florida history. That’s just the illustration for him. I recall you sharing it. So sorry, Rob. Peace and comfort to you,

Rob, thank you so much for your kind words about my grandfather, Bob Bass. I know he would truly be honored by them and cherish the fact that all of you thought so highly of him. He has always been one of the greatest men that I have ever known. I too share his love for writing and even joined the Florida Outdoors Writing Association at his urging and enjoyed many of his interests including history, civil war, fishing, boating, aviation, photography and so many others. I plan on keeping his memory alive in any way that I can and for as long as I can. For those of you that didn’t know, it was cancer that finally got him but he fought it until the end and always remained stoic and strong. I love him and miss him dearly. Thank you again.
