April 26th, 2014 – Swampy’s Florida at the Marion County Springs Festival!
by Rob Smith, Jr. on Apr.26, 2014, under Cartooning, Swampy's Florida
Me and Swampy’s Florida were at the Marion County Springs Festival Saturday. My new ‘Swampy’s Florida: Silver Springs State Park’ was available along with most all else in the Swampy corral. I signed and doodled in many a copy. A few photos below. Many thanks to The Knowledge Exchange and the Reynolds Family for their incredible help. Also thanks to fellow Marion Count Museum of History and Archaeology Museum Commissioner, Linda Elwood, too! I shoulda gotten a photo of the entire crew!!
This is one of my helpers today, Linda Ellwood. We’re both Commisssioners of the Marion County Museum of History and Archaeology.
Martha Ross, from New Smyrna Beach, has been an active part of the Swampy’s Florida Facebook page, but I had never met her until the Marion County Springs Festival this weekend. She’s a big Swampy fan and here she is with Swampy and the new ‘Swampy’s Florida: Silver Springs State Park’. Thank you so much for your support, Martha!
