Young people won’t know of a time when newspapers included great illustration work. This one is by my friend Ralph Smith for an in-depth look at the security guard business. This artwork and the accompanying story below was from the April 12th, 1976 edition of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. Ralph still creates editorial cartoons for the Sarasota Herald-Tribune today.
I came across this artwork while pulling an advertisement for my Swampy’s Florida page.
