Here’s my newest watercolor painting! This one is of Six Gun Territory. The scene is lifted from a postcard and the humans are replaced with frogs. This is the Father’s Day card I gave to my father this past week.

Here I am with Swampy in The Knowledge Exchange booth the Florida Parent Educators Association in Osceola County, Florida. Swampy books, prints, DVDs await the estimated 20,000 attendees of the biggest home school convention in the country.
May 23rd, 2013 – Painting Progress

I’ve been adding watercolor today to the illustration done a few days ago. After finishing doing the caricature thing at a conference at the Rosen Shingle Creek, I headed over to the Smooth Java coffee shop to paint and take in the great jazz coming from the ceiling speakers. Here’s how this looks after over an hour of applying watercolor. It’s one of two projects I worked on in the coffee shop. I’ll likely finish it during the Florida Parent Educators Association convention I’ll be signing books at over the next two days.

Just finished prepping this illustration for watercolor to be slopped on soon. It’s set in the Crocodile Lake National Wildlife Refuge in South Florida and for an auction to help raise funds to help the American Crocodile
April 3rd, 2013 – More artwork!

Another meeting. Another batch of artwork done! Needed to riddle a stack of pencils for projects and did a bunch during a two and a half hour meeting…Participated in the meeting, too! Even got to ink a bit. Next is to send off the pencil work to a slew of clients for OKs, then I can figure time to ink some and color some. Some of these i can show final versions of later.
New Swampy’s Florida watercolor painting going to silent auction!

This watercolor painting I finished last night will be in the silent auction at the Marion County Springs Festival tomorrow, Saturday the 24th, at Rainbow Springs State Park. The educational and music filled event runs from 10am to 4pm. Come on out and maybe you can nab this for 20 bucks!

A good investment of three hours holed up in the back of a Steak ‘n Shake in Leesburg as I got two cartoons penciled and inked and finished a watercolor painting for a silent auction Saturday. I’ll post further about the painting on Friday.
