This is a page I inked today as a coloring page give away at the big Ocali Days event starting Wednesday. It was a last minute project, that took a half dozen layouts or so to work out. Inking was the easy part. This is the finished piece already at the printer.

The focus is the city of Dunnellon in western Marion County, Florida, that I’m working on a coloring book for.

This is for an involved cartoon map I’m working on. It’ll get digitally colored along the way.

Drew caricatures for the Aveda school of hair care and massage in Dunedin on October 19th, to help raise donations for breast cancer. Here are a few of the instructors who were drawn by me that day. Thanks to, long time friend, Jo Ann Fenstermacher for having me there! Above is A.E. Sabo, Jo Ann Fenstermacher and me at the event.

After the event I brought into a room where the drawings adorned a number of wall sections. Below is one section.

Above is the prepped version  in the process getting the watercolor painting below finished. Above I’ve penciled the caricature incorporating the image of the person’s head and a large amount of information about her to assemble a really personal drawing of who she is.
Adding the ink that won’t run with the watercolor, I prep the art and then add the watercolor.

Here’s a large group of University of North Florida students with little stuffed Swampy of Swampy’s Florida. I was there to entertain with caricatures and I’ll post later about those.

Drew caricatures tonight for a corporate event at the Peabody hotel south of Orlando in Orange County. The event’s attendees were all involved with containing digital information or servicing those who do.

Here’s a bit of art from an upcoming Swampy’s Florida book. More as it comes along. Should be done by the end of the month.

Yesterday I posted the prepped artwork for watercolor. Here’s the watercolored version.

I’m going to try and post more here. It’ll be tough when on the road. Otherwise, I hope to increase artwork posts to, at least, three to four a week.

Here’s a caricature I’m working on. I worked from a few photographs of each person. It’s penciled and prepped for watercolor, which I’ll add tomorrow. I should be posting the finished artwork tomorrow.

Here’s my newest watercolor painting! This one is of Six Gun Territory. The scene is lifted from a postcard and the humans are replaced with frogs. This is the Father’s Day card I gave to my father this past week.
